I am running openssl When I tried to initiate a SSH session, it hang at the "ssh-rand-helper" command. I then get a source copy of ssh-rand-helper. AIX 4. I saw a listing for "openssh for AIX" in which a response indicated a link was posted in the original post, but I couldn't find that link or another "original post", so first, if someone could enlighten me why I couldn't Is it a straightforward install?

This would allow you to simply do a git pull on the rsync server when you need to update the code on the AIX server. You can then simply setup a cronjob on the AIX to rsync the code across when changes are needed. My servers have a cronjob which uses rsync to pull changes across once an hour.
Simply install git on the AIX server. You can then do a simple git pull on the AIX server directly. You can find the git packages on the Perzl package site. On Linux or BSD I would usually agree with Nevik Rehnel's comment, but in my experience it's usually not that easy to compile from source on AIX :P I've had quite a few problems compiling from source, but luckily you can usually find packages for most things especially the GNU build chain.
If anyone wants to try to find a package instead of compiling from source, or if they are looking for GCC packages since xlC is a paid product you can look on the above mentioned perzl.

Once you've done this PRTG should present you with a list of the scripts found in the relevant directory of the server and you can select the script and provide any required arguments for the script as well Once you've added the script you should be good to go and PRTG should now be able to login to your AIX, run your script and pickup the result for you.
