First of all let me elaborate a little more about those areas. Use the Pattaya baht bus routes map scroll down for assistance. At 10 baht per person, per ride subject to change for most routes, the only way to get around Pattaya cheaper is by walking. The baht bus aka songthaew is the most popular and convenient way of getting around downtown Pattaya, and to and from Jomtien and Naklua.
The baht bus so called because back in the day it cost a baht is a pickup style truck with a canopy roof, and 2 bench seats in the back for passengers.
The photo below shows the dark blue colored baht bus which operates in downtown Pattaya, Jomtien and Naklua. In reality you will find most Pattaya baht bus drivers ignore these rules.
Hailing a baht bus : If a baht bus is going in your direction you may be able to hail it down. The polite, correct way is to beckon with an outstretched arm, with you palm facing down. If the driver asks you where you are going, I would say nothing or even wait for the next baht bus. Once you tell a driver where you are going, and he takes you there, he could well charge you a charter fee of baht or more, depending how far he detoured from his route.
Exiting and paying : When you want the baht bus to stop, either because you are at your destination or it is no longer traveling in your desired direction you should press one the buzzers located above your head.
If a baht bus is going in your direction, get on. If it deviates from your expected route, get off and wait for another. The most popular baht bus route in Pattaya is the loop which goes anti clockwise north along 2nd Road from south Pattaya Road, turns left at Dolphin Roundabout and then south on Pattaya Beach Road. Routes also include Pattaya to Jomtien and Naklua.

I don't know. It does'nt seem to look like a made in Japan piece either. I have'nt seen it all,so this may be something I have'nt seen yet. I do have some Thai and Japanese made examples that I'm going to try and dig out to post for comparison. I can't agree this is Thai.
Below are some more typical Okinawan made examples. Colors are different, backing, some have the rice glue on the back, etc. As far as the blocked ot portion, it may have been an F, as the F model was used in the early days.
Could have just been a mistake patch they fixed up. I have over mission patches in my collection from fighters, and there's all kinds of different manufacturing methods in use. In my conversations with the vets, even if they were in Thailand they still had many patches made in Japan and even South Vietnam.
Thanks for the help. My patch seems to be made like your bottom patch. Thailand has so many different manufacturing methods, I assumed it was made there. It does not have the typical style of Japanese made USN patches for instance, so, once again, if it is not Thai made, my apologies.
I'm still learning just like everyone else here. Yes, it's rice glue, common to Okie and Japan made patches used to stiffen them up. Here's some Thai stuff for comparison. The missions was modified in Thailand with the G and Wild Weasel. The F-4 one is commonly called a puffy back. However, some puffy backs appear to have also been made in S Vietnam, as this was an Indian technique used by them wherever they set up shop at. Nice examples of the three basic Thai made methods.
Some really scary puffy back repros popped up a few years ago. Since then, I have been ever so cautious with those type made patches. Thanks a lot again to everyone! More details.
